My Cute LG Optimus F3 Case! Review

So today I received the Izengate wallet case for my LG Optimus F3 phone that I had mentioned here. I actually like it even more than I thought I would. It's really cute. I love the strap that makes it so easy to carry my phone. And this is silly, but I love that I can hold my phone like a little book...this makes reading ebooks more fun as it gives it a somewhat more real book like experience.

I am including some pictures. I apologize for the fact that I took pictures of it with it on the quilt on my bed that has snags all over it where my cat took her claws to it. Also, the lighting isn't so great so the blue (what the website calls "mint green" but mine is really more of a "mint blue") isn't as bright as it actually is in person. The colors in these pics aren't true at all, you can't see the "mintiness" at all, but it is there...the color really does look more like the photos on the Amazon.com page than what you see in my pics, but mine does look a little more blue than theirs (have I confused you yet?).  The pics probably are also a little blurry (plus I *had* to use the soft focus filter on it). I also don't have any pics of my phone in it, as that was what I was using to take pics of it with.

I'm playing around with the idea of adding some lace that I have (I have a lot of it as you can see in the pics). There are some roses made of ribbon in one of the pics too, but I don't think I'll use those.

I just added my phone and some credit cards and my ID to the wallet. The ID doesn't fully fit in the ID slot and sticks out a bit, so I'll have to remove it completely if I ever need to show it, like if I am ever pulled over or such. The case starts to feel a bit bulky with even only three cards added when you try to close it. And the more I look it I started noticing a few flaws, like the inside of the clasp isn't sewn properly. Still, I am really happy with it...it's pretty good for something that only cost $12. (I am now wishing it had only cost $10 though.)

I have not taken any actual phone calls with it yet, so I can't really comment on that. But I have kind of sort of pretended to take a call with it. :p
If you want to hold it next to your ear as you talk then yes that will prove to be a little awkward. I actually don't use my phone for talking that much as I mostly use it more like a mini tablet, and when I do talk on it I usually use earbuds and hold the phone somewhat near my mouth...the microphone on the LG Optimus F3 seems pretty good that I don't have to have it right there next to my face or mouth for the person on the other end to hear me. So I think I'll be okay if I continue to talk on the phone with it that way.

Oh, in my first post about this case I mentioned that the clasp will probably get in the way when trying to use the phone stand feature...but I just found a way to deal with this. Slide the clasp through the loop of the carrying strap and the strap holds it out of the way. I hope that makes sense.

Anyway, I am so happy and excited to have a case like this at last, as I have been wanting one like it ever since I had gotten my first smartphone.
